Good evening everyone,

Since the HOA association duties were obtained from Broadwell in 2016, the elected board members have worked effortlessly with the mind set of this neighborhood continuing to develop as one of the best in the county. A thanks is in order for the HOA board members that were in place for the 2016 and 2017 fiscal years. The HOA board members that consisted of Gale James, Aaron Carter, Robert Wakeman and Damon Wyche spent many hours working to ensure that business of the neighborhood was managed well to ensure that the value of the property is maintained and/or advanced. As an Example of their efforts, this board of members did not seek to hire a management company for the two years in effort to save money from the assessments collected. That decision saved the neighborhood approximately $6,000 which was the approximated cost if a management company was hired. I would like to commend those who worked on the boards which included Mark Koentizer and Ronald Smith for their hard work.

Those that agree to serve on a HOA board volunteer their and their family time along with adding criticism, stressful hours and very little gratitude to their lives. The previous and current HOA board members put forth a great effort to ensure that the business of the association has been managed well for the greater good of the neighborhood promoting “community before self”. I, as a homeowner, appreciate all the hard work the board members have put in and thank them all.

During the annual meeting held on November 11, 2017, the following association members were voted to serve on the HOA board for 2018 and 2019: Keri Alpers (Treasurer), Aaron Carter (Vice-President), John Kellum (At-Large), Katherine Bower (Secretary) and Damon Wyche (President). The HOA board began the year hitting the ground running to ensure that the association progress established during the 2016 and 2017 fiscal years continues. Rest assure, it is the board’s intention to not only be very, very transparent, but to ensure that the association business is handled with diligence. Please, if any association member has any concerns or questions regarding the handling of the association, again please send in a note via the website or please attend the meetings. The HOA board will ensure that all questions or concerns will be presented at the meetings. If anyone has any questions or concerns of any of the HOA board members actions while serving on the board, please notify us on the website and it will be addressed at the meetings.

The 2018-2019 elected board members look forward to working with all the association members and handling the task of managing the business of the association. We appreciate the support received during the past 2 years but need a lot more association members to attend the meetings either in person or selecting another association member as representation.
